Claude asks before it pushes, posts, sends, pays or deletes.
A free hook for Claude Code. Before Claude pushes code, deploys, posts, sends a message, moves money or deletes files, it stops and asks you first. If the gate itself breaks, the action is blocked, not let through.

Get the gate now, and the fix when Claude Code changes.
Leave your email and the download opens right away. When a Claude Code update changes how hooks work, I'll email you what changed and the fix. One just did: v1.1 fixes how the gate starts on a fresh Windows PC.
Rather read every line first? The code is open on GitHub.
what it stops and asks about
- git push, which on many sites is a live deploy
- deploys and publishes
- public posts
- emails and texts
- payments
- deleting files
- edits to the gate itself, so it can't be switched off quietly
Tested on Windows 11, with a Mac setup included. Needs Claude Code 2.1.295 or newer and Python 3.8 or newer. It's a seatbelt, not a vault door: it reads the command Claude is about to run, not the inside of every script.
