How an entrepreneur built a one-person AI operating system with Claude.
The One-Person OS by suna from sunabuilds
A working result in 15 minutes: fill in one file, and Claude states the business and its goal back correctly, every session. Then the rest of a real system built by directing Claude Code since February 2026: five parts that give Claude a memory of the business and a rule that it asks before anything goes out. Starter kit and written setup guide. $39 one-time.
Five parts. One system.
The router file
One plain-text file Claude reads at the start of every session. It says what the business is, where everything lives, and which rule wins when two disagree.
What it does for the business
Claude starts each session already knowing the business. No re-explaining the offer, the customers or the house rules.
The memory folder
Short notes for decisions, preferences and corrections, with one index file that points to them. Claude reads the index and adds to it as work happens.
What it does for the business
A decision made on Monday is still there on Friday. Fewer repeated questions, fewer repeated mistakes.
The safety gate
A small script that Claude Code runs before every action. Posting, sending, deploying, pushing code and spending get stopped until the owner approves.
What it does for the business
Claude can draft the email, the post or the change. Nothing goes out and no money moves without a yes. The gate is also free on its own at sunabuilds.ai/gate.
Loop templates
A written spec for multi-step work: the goal, the steps, when to stop, and what needs approval. Claude runs the loop from the spec and reports back.
What it does for the business
Hand off a multi-step job, approve the plan once, then review the result instead of steering every step.
The knowledge vault
A folder system for saved posts, articles and notes. Claude sorts them into topics and pulls out the ideas worth building.
What it does for the business
The pile of saved posts turns into a short, ranked list of what to build next.
Also included
- A written setup guide, in plain English, step by step.
- Three ready-made skills: a research brief builder, a status check and a session handoff. Claude picks each one up on cue.
- A 10-minute screen walkthrough of the real system. It's being recorded, and buyers get it free on the download page when it's ready.
No code. Just directions.
I'm suna. I build my business in plain English. In February 2026 I opened Claude Code on a laptop and started telling it what I needed.
Every part of this kit came out of that work. I described a problem, Claude built a fix, I used it on my own business, and I kept what held up. The router came first, so the business never needed explaining twice. The memory folder came next, so decisions stopped getting lost between sessions.
The safety gate exists because I wanted an AI that does real work and still asks before anything leaves the building.
The kit is the cleaned-up version of that system, with my personal details taken out and a guide written for someone starting from zero.
Who it's for. Who it isn't.
Built for
- Entrepreneurs at the start, building the business side mostly alone.
- People who are comfortable explaining what they want in plain English.
- Anyone who wants AI doing real work while keeping the final say on what gets sent, posted or spent.
Not for
- Anyone looking for a way to make money fast. This is a set of tools and templates, not an income plan.
- Developers after a code framework or an API library. The kit is text files and Claude Code settings.
- Anyone who wants an AI that acts with no approvals. The gate is the point.
- Anyone not willing to pay for a Claude plan. The kit does not run on the free plan.
Everything it costs, up front.
